I always get confused about the RTGS and NEFT process. Both do the same work but the only difference is their time. NEFT stands for National Electronic Funds Transfer and RTGS for Real-time Gross Settlement. Recently I tried to know more about their charges and which one is preferred and got to know that in urgency, RTGS can be used as the transaction gets done in real time, that is instantly so people do not have to wait. In case of NEFT the transaction is promised to be done within 24 hours. However the SBI NEFT RTGS charges from 2022 is something new to me. Is NEFT free if done online?I usually do NEFT online but the last time I did it offline. That is when I got to know that NEFT is done online, it is going to be free of cost. If you want to know what are the NEFT charges of SBI bank online, do know it is free. Only the offline mode is going to charge you a minimum fee.
