I have had my eyes on SSVR Lotus Pond in Varthur since its launch. I agree that the land appreciation is a major factor for investors like me, which this project promises.
I was looking at both 2 and 3 BHK options here. The price range is between Rs. 1.55 Cr to Rs. 2 Cr. I liked the flat and it fits into my budget as well. I am planning to invest in 2 BHK here. I am planning to give this out for rental purposes to a family. I am sure they will enjoy the open spaces, jogging tracks and other amenities offered.

While exploring properties in Varthur, I came across many SSVR Lotus Pond reviews. I have been looking for a real estate investment opportunity in this area for a while since I have heard that property appreciation in the area will be higher.
I went to understand the SSVR Lotus Pond location better. The area had a couple of eateries like Church and Nusa Tropical Brewvilla. However, I am concerned that the project is close to Varthur Lake which has been prone to frequent frothing. Lake fires have also been caused here. Due to this reason, I might pass on this investment opportunity.

Mohan, my cousin, worked at EcoLife Developers situated at Varthur. He stayed at Sarjapur Road and had to endure traffic jams every day. So he made a decision to buy properties at Varthur and be close to his workplace.
He went there and had a word with the management. He said when he asked about SSVR Lotus Pond possession date, he learned that the property has been there since October 2015 and is ready to occupy. He asked about RERA registration to which he didn’t get a clear answer. He is unsure about investing here now.
