Hello. We wanted to renovate our bathroom from a contemporary to a modern one. While doing so, we also switched to a new paint to match the vibe. So, I can give you some tips for painting a bathroom that we followed. Some of them were choosing the right paint, using recycled building paper, using a primer and so on. I’ll describe everything below.

What are Some Bathroom Painting Tips Tricks?

Here are three useful tricks that will help paint your bathroom in a hassle free and better manner.

Choose the Right Paint Finish

You need durable paint for the bathroom as it is a high-traffic area. So, the best paint finish would be one with a higher sheen. I used satin for my walls as it is a balanced finish between sheen and cleanability. You get a decent amount of shine and it is also easier to clean.

Recycled Building Paper

Use recycled building paper instead of drop cloths to protect the floor. This eliminates the chances of you tripping over the drop cloth that gets piled up around the bathroom hardware. Use painter’s tape to hold the recycled paper in position.

Use a Mould and Mildew Resistant Primer

Bathrooms are exposed to a lot of moisture and seepage. Although you’ll find interior paints with antimicrobial ingredients in them, I recommend you use a mould and mildew resistant primer to improve adhesion and push moisture out.

This is all I have to say about the tips for painting bathroom walls. I hope it helps.
