Hi,

According to DoT regulations, a mobile tower's single antenna should be installed at a minimum distance of 20 metres from a house, two antennas should be installed at a minimum distance of 35 metres, four antennas at a minimum distance of 45 metres, and six antennas at a minimum distance of 55 metres.

Usually, staying more than 25 feet away from an antenna's emitting beam will keep you from being exposed to levels of RF radiation that are unsafe.

As far as the permission part is concerned, companies are free to instal mobile towers in residential areas, if they have the support of the residents, as long as they have a structural safety certificate from a designated institute, the approval of the municipal authority, and sign an indemnity bond stating that they would be responsible for any losses or injuries caused by the tower. This is so that the law does not forbid them from entering residential areas. Just make sure the tower is not erected within a 100-meter radius of hospitals and educational facilities, according to the companies. Although the rules advise businesses to establish cell towers in forest regions, they never expressly forbid service providers from expanding their network in densely populated areas.

I hope this was helpful.
