First, you are required to file a police complaint about forgery and the fabrication of property documents. You have to write an application to the sub-registrar and inspector-general of registration about the same.

I suggest you publish a warning in the newspaper specifying that the original property owner knows about the forgery. You have to keep the property’s physical possession besides keeping the original property documents safe.
