Getting a life certificate was hectic before. But on 10th November 2014, PM Narendra Modi introduced a scheme and with the help of this scheme any retired person can obtain a life certificate easily. It is crucial for every retired person who has worked as a Government official to submit the life certificate every year in the month of November. The life certificate is popular as the Jeevan Pramaan certificate (JP). You can generate this certificate on your own or you can visit the nearest centres including the Citizen Service Centre (CSC), and the Government Office /Banks to generate the life certificate. But you must know that there are some documents required for life certificate. I will share with you the required documents for life certificate.

What documents are required for life certificate?

The documents required for pension life certificate include:

  • Aadhaar Number of the pensioner.

  • Existing phone number of the pensioner.

  • Registration of the Aadhaar number with Pension Disbursing Agency ( bank

Post Office etc) should have been done already

  • Biometric device

  • PC with Windows 7.0 & above Android Mobile/Tablet 4.0 & above 

  • Internet Connectivity
