I was modifying the bathroom of my apartment. I have aging parents at my place. Hence, thinking about them I wanted to opt for installing a Bidet. I have done a considerable amount of research about what is a Bidet toilet? I would like to share a few facts that I learned about it. I am so relaxed with the installation of Bidet as it helped with self-cleaning for my aging parents.

A bidet is a bathroom fixture that many hygiene-conscious bathroom users fall in love with the first time they use it. Nothing beats a bidet for anyone who wants to stay clean and fresh on a daily basis without having to take a shower or bath.

A bidet is a washbasin near the toilet that is low to the ground. It's usually used to clean private parts after using the toilet. A freshwater stream flows from below the bidet and is controlled by hot and cold water taps.

Some bidets can only be cleaned with a stream of water, while others have basins that must be filled and used by hand.

A bidet improves personal hygiene by allowing users to clean themselves more thoroughly than they could with toilet paper alone. Bidets encourage regular washing because they eliminate the need for a full-scale shower or bath. Bidets also save water and eliminate the need for toilet paper.

A vertical spray bidet resembles the toilet's lower half. The vertical spray bidet's drainage attaches to a P-trap that extends horizontally from the wall, rather than the toilet's big 3-inch aperture that links to a closet flange in the floor.

Consider the bidet toilet seat to be a hybrid of a vertical spray bidet and a toilet bidet system. The bidet seat takes the place of the toilet seat. Water is transferred from the toilet tank to the bidet seat, which is then plugged into the nearest outlet.

Electricity heats the water in a tiny tank, which takes three to four minutes to achieve the desired temperature. The heated water is then directed to the privates at the push of a button. Warm air drying is also available on some bidet toilet seats

• Between washes, it keeps underwear and garments cleaner

• Aids the elderly and crippled in self-cleaning
