Let it be a warm summer or a chilly winter, we all want a balcony with a wonderful view. Most of us are familiar with verandah, a place where you get connected to nature at the end of the day. On a balcony or verandah, you can keep two chairs and a table and most of the time you will see that the verandah is an open space with no bars or grills surrounding it. While reading a book, I came across the term 'french balcony'. I was curious, so I did my bit of research. Let me tell you the meaning of the french balcony.
What is a french balcony?
A French balcony is a space which does not have the facility to step out just like a balcony. The French balcony consists of a floor, ceiling door, and a window which opens to a safety railing.
The French balcony usually provides a panoramic view of the outside world. After reading the book, I was lucky enough to visit a ship with a french balcony inside it. My bedroom opened to a French balcony and I was able to check out the majestic view of the sea in front of me.
So, this was my story of the french balcony. I hope you like it.
