It is a wall made from gabion baskets stacked on top of each other. It is a wall that is usually constructed for stabilising the soil behind any structure. Since galvanised hexagonal meshes are used to make the wall, it is durable as well as natural.Common gabion basket dimensions are 2,0 x 1,0 x 1,0 m. Galvanised mesh has a hexagonal shape with the eye size X x Y = 8,0 x 10,0 cm.

The word Gabion comes from the Italian word gabion. It translates to a big cage. In contemporary times, the Gabion retaining wall is known as a cover wall. There are many advantages of installing such a wall, the aesthetic look, and the natural cooling system as two of them.
