Completion Certificate or CC is a legal document that confirms that the building is in accordance with the construction norms and regulations. Normally, the completion certificate includes all the information of the project such as the building height, quality of materials used and so on. This certificate is provided by the local body. The local authority will provide the completion certificate after the inspection of the site. If the construction satisfies all the rules and regulations including the safety guidelines, then the builder is provided with the completion certificate. It is necessary that you ask for a completion certificate while buying a constructed house or before moving in. The completion certificate demonstrates that the building has been constructed according to the norms of the local authority. Without this, the building is considered illegal and the local body may take legal actions. Additionally, this certificate is necessary for applying for the water and electricity connection for a building.
