What is Included in the Comprehensive Warranty on AC?
I bought a Blue Star 1.5 ton 5-star inverter split AC. There was a 5 year comprehensive warranty included with this. I received an email on the comprehensive warranty registration letter for the comprehensive warranty period.
I was informed about the things that comes with this warranty,
Repairs, corrections, or replacements of the components, such as the IDU or ODU PCB, IDU Evaporator Coil, ODU Condenser Coil, and Gas Charging, are covered under the 5-year comprehensive warranty.
Parts and components that are defective will be swapped out for new, fully working ones that have been repaired.
However, following the first year from the date of installation, customers will be responsible for visitation fees, if any, at the time of Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS), repair, or replacement under the comprehensive warranty.
If necessary, additional transportation fees to and from the service facility will be billed to the customer at actual costs.
All varieties of air filters, all metal and plastic components, and remote handsets are not covered by the comprehensive warranty.
