Contemporary architecture meaning:It is an architectural style where modern styles blend together. Contemporary architecture is not rooted in a specific era. The movement is a shift away from the classical architecture style. In short, contemporary architecture is a mix of styles. The most common features are non-linear and unadorned structures.
Initially, the style was popularised in Europe and the United States. Nowadays, you will find buildings of this style across the globe. A few world famous examples of contemporary design are the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York City, the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, the Shard in London, the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, and the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.
