Nowadays my favourite pastime is gardening. Recently I bought a creeper that is a bluepea or Aparajita plant. My nephew, being a newbie plant enthusiast, asked me what is creeper plant. I told him that creeper plants spread by using the support of other structures.
What is the Creeper Plant?
I told my nephew that creepers develop with the help of other structures. They can develop on other plants, walls, trellises, and fences. Their tall, thin, extremely brittle stems are unable to hold their weight or stand upright.
What are the Creeper Plants?
I also introduced my nephew to the following different types of creeper plants;
- Flowering creepers:
Morning Glory, Bougainvillea
- Fruit creepers:
Strawberry, Kiwi vines

Creepers are easy to maintain. One just needs to follow some basic steps like;
Watering creeper plants regularly is recommended, particularly in hot and dry weather.
Regular pruning of creeper plants is necessary to manage their growth and keep them from becoming overly invasive.
For healthy growth, creeper plants require support. This can be given in the shape of walls, trellises, or other constructions. Making sure the support is strong enough to support the plant's weight is crucial.
Fertiliser should be used often to creeper plants to encourage strong growth and blooming. But be careful—overfertilizing them can harm the plant.
