Hey there,

In this comment, I will be answering ‘what is crib’. Knowing the meaning of crib is essential if you have a baby or plan to have a baby in the future. The word crib is usually associated with babies yet it is also used as a slang that  means ‘complaining’. Take a look below to know more.

According to the dictionary, a crib is “a child's bed with barred or latticed sides; a cot”. It is a bed for a baby with slats on the side to ensure the child does not fall out of bed.

 How to make a crib?

Take a look at the process given below :

  1. You will need to get wooden slats and a wooden panel to make the bottom.

  2. Glue or carefully nail down the slats on the edge of the rectangular wooden panel ( Ensure, there is equal amounts of space between the slats ).

  3. Now that the structure is ready, baby-proof the slats by rubbing them down with sandpaper.

  4. Add a soft mattress to the wooden panel at the bottom.

  5. Attach the entire thing on top of tall yet sturdy wooden legs.

This is how to make a crib. Decorate according to your preference. Remember, to make sure you are using non-toxic materials throughout the process to protect yourself and your child.

This is all from my end on what is crib. If you liked the answer, give it an upvote.
