Is curing in construction necessary?

To make the concrete water and cement should be mixed properly. Due to hydration cement and water forms mix together and form tiny crystals. If the water is not inadequate crystals won't form which will prevent the formation of concrete. This is why curing is important.   In fact, curing is a very important step for concrete as without curing properly the concrete will turn to be weak and susceptible to cracking, abrasion, and adverse effects.   Temperature plays an important role in curing. The minimum temperature for curing is 10 degrees celsius. The concrete should be wet all the time to prevent isolated dry spots.   Wet Covering:     Wet coverings supply a continuous supply of moisture evenly on the slab surface. Burlap can be used for wet covering since it reduces the temperature of the hydrating concrete slabs.
