The cost of false ceiling framing channels increases if it is heavier and the cost is less for low-weight channels. Most ceilings are done with medium-quality channels. 

• Design And Material

The cost of complex designs with high-quality materials is higher, whereas simple designs with average material are lower. 

• Gap Between the Slab and False Ceiling

The ideal gap between the concrete slab and false ceiling is ideally around 3 to 7 inches but the cost increases if the gap is higher than that.

• Lighting

False ceiling cost increases when additional lightings like track lights, pendant lights, etc are used.
