Hi there,

Whether you are a new employee or an old one, you must know what is form 19 in PF. We all tend to know about PF and its benefits, but we don't generally know about form 19 in PF. I came to know about it just recently when I wanted to withdraw my PF balance for a personal errand.

As we all know, the Employee Provident Fund or EPF is a retirement scheme of the government for every private or public sector employee of India through which some amount of the salary is contributed by the employee and a similar amount is contributed by the employer in PF. So, what is form 19 in PF? It is a form that must be filled and submitted while withdrawing the PF amount at the time of retirement or whenever an employee wishes to withdraw it.

Apart from that Form 19 is used when an employee wants to withdraw pension benefits at the time of retirement or when you leave a job and also to get a non-refundable advance from PF which is a withdrawal that can be done during the employment under certain conditions.
