Trains are the cheapest means of transport. When we were moving from Delhi to Bangalore, we transported our fridge through it and it was so affordable. What are the Transport Charges for Fridge?
As I said earlier, the transportation cost depends on the weight of the fridge and the distance. In our case, the weight of the fridge was 91 kg and the distance from Delhi to Bangalore was around 2400 km. They charged me around Rs 650. But it was quite a hassle. This cost is just from Delhi railway station to Bangalore railway station.
It cost me around Rs 9,000 to get the fridge transported from my house to Delhi station and Rs 12,000 from Bangalore station to my house there. On that, I had to wait for around 5 hours as the train was delayed.
