According to the recent updates, in Greater Faridabad master plan 2031, around 1600 acres of agricultural land is notified to be converted to residential land. So many owners of farms are looking to convert their lands by paying the development fee and starting or sharing their land with real estate business. Due to this, there is a huge supply of land in this area, but the demand for land is not that high. So, the property rates are not as expected. If you are looking for the prices to go up, then you will have to wait for another 10 years. However, plots in HUDA have better prospects. I would suggest, if you are looking for long term investment (more than 5 years), then you can buy it. It is said that within 5–6 years HUDA plots will get a good return on the investment. Additionally, if your plot is within a gated community by a reputed builder, it is much better.
