This type is preferred for construction in contemporary times. 

This type is used less in contemporary times.

It is a mix of limestone, clay and gypsum which are burned together under extreme

temperatures.

Chemicals used to make this cement type are beta-tricalcium phosphate and monocalcium phosphate monohydrate

It starts to harden completely 

It takes longer to harden, even days in certain climatic conditions.

Hydraulic cement tends to harden while in contact with water, even underwater. 

Non Hydraulic cement tends to harden in dry conditions
