What is Kaimin in Hitachi AC?

I asked my AC technician about the available mode and its operation during the installation of my Hitachi air conditioner. At that time, I came to know what is Kaimin in Hitachi AC. The technician informed me that the "Kaimin"  is a feature in Hitachi AC that automatically changes the temperature during the night to accommodate your body's needs.

What does Kaimin Mean in Hitachi AC?

According to our AC technician, the temperature is adjusted in the Kaimin mode to maximise cooling without generating a chill effect. The goal of this mode is to give users a relaxing and comfortable night's sleep.

He went on to say that this mode helps save electricity and is suitable for relaxed, healthful operation. He also gave me further information on how to use the Kaimin mode. There are a few steps to select the Kaimin function.

• This function will change with each press of the Kaimin key from your remote, producing a beeping sound.

• Press the Kamin button on your remote and you can also select the Kaimin mode for the desired number of hours.

• If you want to switch off the Kaimin mode, press the Kaimin key till the LCD shows no Kaimin display.

How does Kaimin Mode Work?

My AC technician informed me of the operation of Kaimin mode with an example.

Suppose, you set your AC temperature to 21°C. After that, you choose the COOL mode, high fan speed, and KaiminTM for an hour. Then, after 60 minutes of operation, it will automatically increase to 22°C. It will maintain this temperature throughout the operation with the selected fan speed to ensure a peaceful and comfortable sleep.
