I have seen buildings of different sizes in my neighbourhood. You can spot beautiful houses with big gardens. Societies are made of multistory apartments and high-rise buildings with thirty floors. There are also kutcha houses in the vicinity. In this segment, I will share with you what a multistorey apartment means.  

Any building where multiple flats are built on each floor wherein all the residents have to share the common area. The building will be known as Multistorey apartment buildings. Usually, any building that has more than five-eight floors constitutes a multistory apartment. 

Just as the name suggests ‘multi means multiple or more than one, storey means floors’. The housing unit can be a part of a group housing project or government scheme. It can be built by a private developer as a society or standalone property. The layout of the building needs to be approved by the Municipal Corporation of the state. 

There are many disadvantages of purchasing a flat in a multi-floor apartment :
