PTIN or property identification number is a unique ten-digit number issued for every property for the payment of property taxes. Every property owner gets the PTIN number when they buy the property, this PTIN is further used to pay the property tax. It is a 10 digit number (14 digits for older properties) issued by the municipal corporation authorities. I have found my Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN) with the help of the below answer. I gathered that you can check your previously paid tax receipt to find the PTIN number as well.
