When it comes to matte and gloss finish items you need PU polish. You may have heard about PU polish before and might have wondered what is PU polish.

Polyurethane polish, well known as PU polish is a polymer that acts as a protective coating on wooden furniture. PU polish helps in protecting the upper layer of the furniture from getting corroded, weathering, abrasion and any other ways that can damage the beauty of the furniture in the long run. 

PU polish also protects furniture from moisture, dust, water, UV rays. It helps to maintain the beauty of the wooden furniture. PU polish can be obtained in the form of water-based and solvent-based. Water-based PU polish is used for internal surfaces and solvent-based PU polish is used for external surfaces.

Since I am talking about PU polish, I will talk about melamine polish as well. 

The melamine polish is also like PU polish which protects the furniture from getting damaged. Melamine polish only helps to protect furniture from water whereas PU polish helps to protect furniture from any kind of damage. Therefore using PU polish would be a better choice than melamine.
