As of my last update in January 2022, there is no specific information available on "Section 31 of RERA Act." For accurate and current details, please refer to the latest legal documents or consult with a legal professional.

Section 31 of RERA Act or Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 allows any aggrieved person to file a complaint with the Authority or the adjudicating officer for any violation or contravention of the provisions of this Act or the rules and regulations made thereunder against any promoter allottee or real estate agent, as the case may be

. The form, manner, and fees for filing a complaint under sub-section (1) shall be such as may be specified by regulations.

However, in a general sense any aggrieved party has to file a complaint by filling out the form and attaching the documents such as payment receipts, agreements, and correspondence with each other as proof. There is a fee involved to file a complaint which may vary from each state. The authority conducts an enquiry before passing the order.

This explanation should help you understand

section 31 RERA a lot better.
