I am not sure what is SOL ID full form in banking, but perhaps it refers to a unique code that banks’ branches are allotted. In case of any fault or transaction, you might need this ID so it is better to be aware of what is it. When I asked a friend what is SOL ID of bank she also said the same. It is just a bank’s branch ID. Since I have an account in PNB, let me share its SOL ID list here.

What is the SOL ID of PNB?

Different branches of a single bank has different SOL ID so if you want to know the entire list of SOL IDs for PNB, you can get it here:

The SOL IDs of Axis Bank is:

This is all I know about the SOL id meaning in banking.

Hey Friend,

I was going through the list of banking abbreviations provided by the RBI. However, there is no SOL full form in banking provided in the list. The basic idea about SOL ID is the branch ID.

I hope this clarifies your query, what is SOL ID in bank.

Being an Axis Bank Customer, I can say that a customer can get his/her SOL ID from the below-mentioned link;

Branch Locator - Locate a Branch Nearby - Axis Bank

You will receive the branch address, along with the SOL ID, when you select your state, city, and region from the drop-down box.

Just to reiterate about SOL ID means in bank, one should keep in mind that the SOL ID is the Branch ID.

After understanding what is SOL in banking, I would also like to say that with the website above, you may find information such as the IFSC Code and find more ATMs, loan centres, forex branches, and other locations.

I would like to conclude here. Though it was not possible for me to get the SOL full form in banking, I would appreciate it if anyone could provide a few more details regarding the same in the comments section below.
