Usually the late payment surcharge is paid after the due date has been passed.
Discharge is paid on the outstanding payment which is calculated at the base rate of the late payment surcharge.
It is calculated for the first month of the default
If you continue to not pay your bill on time for successive months the late payments rate would keep on increasing by oh point five per cent for each month of delay.
You should also know that this late payment surcharge should not exceed 3% of the base rate at any point in time
