What is terrazzo tile?

Terrazzo can be found in variant colours. So, how is this material made? The process of manufacturing terrazzo is fairly simple. One of the advantages of terrazzo flooring is that it is customizable and you can use terrazzo in kitchen slabs, walls, and floors.

• Epoxy Terrazzo

Mostly epoxy terrazzo is used to furnish the floor. It is made up of a thick resin matrix and a concrete slab. The epoxy terrazzo is chemical resistant and can be used for flooring and counter installations.

• Rustic Terrazzo

Looking at the name, I think you will understand that rustic terrazzo is red in colour. Due to its rough exterior, the material gives a rustic feeling which is perfect for outdoor use. 

• Sand Cushion Terrazzo

You will find this type of terrazzo on flooring. It is made up of wire meshes, isolation sheets, and layers of sands. You will find this type of terrazzo in a logo. You can easily create some designs on the surface with sand cushion terrazzo.
