What is the Whitefield Bangalore Cost of Living?

Real Estate Projects

• The starting price of projects in Whitefield is Rs. 799 per square foot. The average rate of independent units in Whitefield is Rs. 9,443 per sqft.

• The price is comparatively higher because of a well-developed IT infrastructure, with a lot of tech parks in the region. You will find big firms like TCS, Infosys and more here.

• The area has entertainment regions like Phoenix MarketCity, reputed schools and colleges, which gives this area a good reputation for living in Bangalore

Renting

The average rent in Whitefield. for a colive is about Rs. 17,000. This will go down if you opt for a local PG where the average rent goes somewhere around Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,000 for a double sharing. 

Transportation

This is something which I can say as a whole for Bangalore and not just from the perspective of Whirefiled. Here are the transportation costs;

• Normal Bus: Rs. 50 – Rs. 70

• AC Bus: Rs. 100  – Rs.200

• Airport Bus: Rs. 150 – Rs. 300

• Auto: Rs. 150 – Rs. 300

• Mini Cab: Rs. 250 – Rs. 500

• Sedan Cab: ₹Rs. 500 – Rs. 700

The transportation can vary based on the distance and the time of the day for cabs.

Food

• North Indian Food: Rs. 100 – Rs. 500

• South Indian Food: Rs. 50 – Rs. 500

Restaurants: Rs. 600 to 2000 for two (Sharing from my experience where restaurants go from medium to fancy).
