I noticed the shower area, especially the shower grout in my bathroom, was in pretty terrible shape, and I immediately planned to get it cleaned, but I didn’t want to scrub. I started looking up online the easiest way to clean shower grout without scrubbing. And I came across a few methods, including vinegar and dishwashing detergent through which it was possible to clean the area pretty easily.

How to Clean Shower Grout Without Scrubbing?

One of the easiest ways to clean the shower grout is by using baking soda and vinegar. You can just make a thick paste by adding both, apply the paste to the area that you want to clean and add a few drops of vinegar. Leave it for an hour, and after that, wash it off with cold water.

Here is another method of using vinegar and dishwashing detergent.

  • Mix equal parts of vinegar and dishwashing detergent to create a solution.

  • Pour the solution into a spray bottle and apply it over the area that you want to clean.

  • Let it sit for an hour, then rinse it off with clean water.

And that’s it. These are a few methods that I learned about, and among them, the baking soda and vinegar method is my favourite.

How to Acid Wash Tiles?

I recently had to deal with some stubborn grout in my shower, and scrubbing was not enough to get rid of it. So, I looked into what is the easiest way to clean shower grout without scrubbing, and I was really surprised at how simple it can be. I found many methods like using a vinegar and lemon solution or using a mix of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to clean grout without scrubbing.

What is the Easiest Way to Clean Grout Without Scrubbing?

The easiest method I tried was using a homemade vinegar and lemon solution.

  • All I needed was two cups of warm water, three tablespoons of vinegar, and two teaspoons of lemon juice.

  • I mixed that up, sprayed it on the grout lines, and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then, I wiped it off with a damp cloth without scrubbing.

  • The acidity in the vinegar and lemon helped to break down the grime, and the result was sparkling clean grout.

For even tougher stains, I used a mix of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.

  • I combined one part hydrogen peroxide with two parts baking soda to form a paste, applied it to the grout, and let it sit for 20 minutes.

  • After wiping it away, my grout was clearly brighter and shinier.

Alternatively, you can run the steam over the grout lines, and the heat will loosen up all the dirt and grime, making it super easy to wipe away afterward.

These methods really worked for me, and best of all, I didn’t have to put in much effort.I hope if you try these methods, I am sure that you won’t be disappointed.
