East and southeast are considered good for the kitchen slab direction as per Vastu Shastra. Apart from this, there are other guidelines set for the kitchen slab as per Vastu. What is the Kitchen Slab Vastu?
There are some guidelines for the colour of the kitchen slab as per Vastu. The colour of the slab is dependent on the direction of the kitchen The rules are as follows:
If the kitchen is in the east, the slab colour should be green or brown.
For a kitchen in the northeast, the slab colour should be yellow.
If the kitchen is placed in the south or southeast, brown, maroon or green slabs are good.
For a kitchen in the west, grey or yellow coloured slab is ideal.
Kitchens in the north direction should have slabs in a green colour. However, vastu says to avoid having the kitchen in the north.
