Pls let me know if one can start construction of the house just before the end of 3 years of period after the sale of ancestral property? I mean can the person avoid long term capital gains if he is late in beginning the construction of house lets say on medical grounds but starts constricting just few days before the end of 3 year period?
I purchased two plots of each of 222sq. yds in 2007 in Phiryadi Nayanavaram registered in Vijayawada sub registrar office based on an unapproved layout. Then after one month purchased one more plot of 222sq. yds in the same location and got registered in the same office in 2007. But to my surprise, this plot was registered based on another layout. Then I enquired about this. I came to know that the landlord made two layouts and sold the plots. All the three plots registered documents are with me, but there are one or two deviations in the borders for each plot. How to proceed for streamline these plots? Kindly suggest me at the earliest.
