Transferring MHADA property rules and regulations is a little different from general rules of selling property. You can transfer property among family members including:
Husband or Wife.
Unmarried son & daughter.
Married son and his family members.
Widow daughter and her unmarried children.
Father and Mother.
Charges to transfer property can be paid by cash or by demand draft/ pay order of any nationalized bank. Transfer charges for MHADA property includes:
Low Income Group @Rs 45/Sq.ft Maximum of Rs 15,000.00
Middle Income Group @Rs 55/Sq.ft Maximum of Rs 25,000.00
High Income Group @Rs 60/Sq.ft Maximum of Rs 35,000.00
There will be other charges for the application form, stamp duty and affidavit charges.
You need to visit the Mhada office to obtain your application form. The address is , MH&AD Board, Griha Nirman Bhavan, Kala
Nagar, Bandra (East), Mumbai – 400 051.
Documents required to transfer MHADA property:
NOC from original tenement.
NOC from co-operative society
Income Certificate (if any)
Two self-attested photos of the applicant
Copy of payment receipt.
Heirship certificate which has record of the blood relation
Death certificate if the owner of the property died.
