Location:
For a home gym Vastu, I was recommended to set up the gym at the north or east sides to bring a balanced positive energy in the room. It is believed to increase strength and motivation while exercising.
I was asked to avoid southwest or southeast sides, as they can cause distractions and disturb workout routine.
Room Ventilation: He suggested me to install large windows facing north or east to bring fresh air and sunlight into the room for positive well-being.
Flooring Material:
The Vastu expert said natural materials like wood or bamboo are ideal for gym flooring according to Vastu beliefs.
To maintain the natural flow of energy, I was asked to avoid using coverings like rubber or vinyl for the gym flooring.
Placing Equipment:
I was also asked to store lighter, transportable equipment like yoga mats, dumbbells, resistance bands in the northwest corner of the gym.
Also, heavier weight machines were asked to be kept in the southwest corner.
Mirrors: Finally, I was told to place mirrors on the north or east walls of the gym, and avoid positioning them directly opposite to each other.
