It might come as a surprise that there is Vastu Shastra for the direction of a toilet seat. The toilet in the house might not seem as important as other parts, but trust me, it is. So, what is the toilet seat direction as per Vastu?

When I researched online, I found that, according to Vastu,

the toilet seat should either face North or South.

This will help improve the family members' health and eliminate the negative energies, thus creating positive energy.

Bathroom Toilet Seat Direction As Per Vastu

According to Vastu, the best area for your bathrooms and toilet is the North-East side of the house. You should always avoid building your bathroom on the South-West part of the house. By any chance, if the bathroom is already built in that direction, then you can build a Vastu pyramid on the outer part of the toilet wall.

Let’s see what to do if the Vastu for toilet seat direction is already in the wrong place. Here are a few things you can do:

  • Use a red bulb in the bathroom and always keep it on.

  • Burn camphor and place a bronze bowl with Vastu salt in it. Change the salt every week.

  • Place a wooden vastu pyramid on the outside frame of the Bathroom.

  • Keep good fragrance in the Bathroom at all times.

Please refrain from adding religious statues, symbols, etc, on the bathroom door. The toilet of the house might seem like a minor or insignificant room, but it plays a significant role in the well-being of the household members. So, keep the toilet seat direction as per Vastu.
