A TPIN (Transaction Password) is a security credential used by bank customers to authenticate transactions. It serves as an additional layer of security beyond login passwords and is necessary for authorizing transactions through mobile apps, internet banking, or other banking services. In the context of the script:
  • The TPIN (Transaction Password) is crucial for Central Bank of India customers to recover if forgotten or reset. The process involves confirming identity via CIF number and OTP received on the registered mobile number.
  • Customers can choose various methods to recover or set their TPIN, such as using a debit card or visiting a bank branch, depending on their preference and convenience.
