I hired a Vastu expert in order to check the Vastu of my house. After checking the whole house, he told me that everything was good except for the colour of the stairs. Following that, I asked him about the staircase colour as per Vastu. Here is what he told me.

He told me that White would be a great colour for the staircase. Following that, he told me about a few points that I need to adhere to. 

• He told me to avoid dark shades. According to him, dark shades bring negative energy and thus must be avoided.

• Next, I was asked not to use the colour red when it comes to painting or tiling the stairs.

• He also, suggested that I should ensure the stairs are well-lit. He also told me that I could use LED lighting to brighten the stairs.

• After that, the Vastu expert told me that the walls adjoining the stairs must be painted in light colours. Hanging paintings or wallpapers on the wall was also an option.
