While moving from my old place to the new one, the movers damaged my bed. As I wasn’t aware of what to do, I called a friend and asked him about what to do if movers break something. He provided me with a few pointers and here are those.

He also told me that even if I notice the damage a few days later, it's still possible to file a successful claim. He asked me to act quickly to prove the movers’ liability.
- Take Pictures
According to him, taking pictures is very effective. He told me to capture time-stamped photos so that I can prove that the date of the pictures is after the move.
- File A Claim
He asked me to get in touch with the company, and have someone send me the appropriate paperwork that I need to file the claim.He also told me to complete the paperwork and mailed it back. After this the moving company should get in touch with me for the claims.
