Before calling and accusing the moving company, he told me to check all the rooms in the new house. There is a high chance that the missing box might have been misplaced and is in another room. Along with that, he also asked me to check the old apartment, in case I left it there.
Tracking:
According to him, Packers and Movers can sometimes track lost boxes. There is always a chance of your boxes getting delivered to another customer's house.
Filing a Claim:
He said that most relocation companies have a claim form that I can fill out. The form is available on the website of the company and is very necessary to be filled out in case of demanding compensation.
Filing for Complaint:
I was also suggested that there are quite a lot of organisations where I can file complaints against the movers to get their assistance. Most packers and mover companies like to keep their reputation positive and will comply accordingly.
