So, I would be able to give you an idea of the rent you can expect for an independent 2 BHK house here. The rent starts at around Rs. 13,000 per month and touches Rs. 38,000 - Rs.40,000 per month. The rent is mainly dependent on the furnishing of the house, its exact location, and other amenities. I will tell you more below.
Rent for Independent 2 BHK House in BTM Layout

The homes are all semi-furnished. You can check out other homes with no furnishing and fully furnishing options on real estate websites like NoBroker, housing, etc. The rents would be a little different for them, given the furnishing type.
Apart from this, the BTM Layout is quite far from Electronic City. You’d have to travel roughly 12 km every day, which can be a big hassle. Although the upcoming metro in the BTM Layout will ease the commute, there is no guarantee that it’s scheduled to start. So, in my view, you should explore localities near E City.
