In general, a parent always knows what his child wants and what he deserves, But, when it comes to the partition of property, one should always focus on equity over equality, "Equity" means fair and impartial division, whereas "Equality" means equal division. If any of your children are well settled and have passive incomes, they should be granted comparatively less property to those who are still pursuing their education. It is also important to look at the other factors when it comes to partition. One of them is that the younger one should be given property land, which is safe and have easy access to their educational institute and to compensate to the elder ones, can have a larger land area, in outskirts of the city. If children are mature enough, they can mutually decide and split up the property based on their personal preferences. Still, the family has to make sure that it does not create any dispute among children.
