I read through your question and would like to point out that, based on my research, the government has not announced a date for assigning houses under the PMAY scheme in 2022.
The Modi government initiated the Housing for All by 2022 plan within five months of taking office, with the goal of providing a home for every Indian by 2022. The central and state governments have launched many projects, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), which seeks to build one crore homes in urban and rural India by 2022.
Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister, stated that in 2022-23, 80 lakh residences will be completed for designated PM Awas Yojana beneficiaries in both rural and urban areas. This will promote affordable housing in urban areas for the poor and middle classes.
The government has sanctioned 54 lakh houses for people in cities and offered over one crore houses to the needy in villages to fulfill this goal.
