I remember when the government made the announcement regarding Dholera Smart City. I was ecstatic to know a smart city like this would be constructed in India. Now, everyone is wondering when will Dholera smart city complete. Don't worry, I have the answer for that. Keep reading to know more.
When Dholera project will complete ?According to official reports, the first phase is set to be developed and completed by the end of 2022. 1st phase is inclusive of both TP1 and TP2.
Basic infrastructure including roads, electricity, gas, etc is set to be completed by 2022. I found out that the government has developed approx 85% of the activation area (22.5 sq kms).

Since the project is divided into phases. Each phase has a different completion date. Phase two is set to be completed in the year 2032. The third phase which is also the last one is set to be completed in the year 2042.
1st Phase (TP1 & TP2) of the smart city will be operational from next year i.e. 2023. Isn’t that exciting? The budget allocated for the construction of Dholera Smart City is Rs. 1734 Cr. Impressive infrastructure like expressways and metro lines will be built as well.
