West-facing houses are always frowned upon but can bring prosperity if appropriately planned. The toilet vastu for west facing house is in the Northwest direction. 

As per the Vastu of a west facing house, the commode direction should be in the southeast or northwest order. Ensure the commode is a few inches off the ground and the toilet is not constructed under a staircase. If all of these are followed, the Vastu of the house will be compatible. According to Vastu, here are a few do's and don'ts of west-facing houses. 

Do's And Don'ts Of Toilet As Per Vastu For West Facing House

DO's

  • Keep windows in such a way that sunlight can enter the bathroom. Sunlight helps disinfect the toilet. 

  • The slope of the bathroom floor should be towards the northeast side. This way, you can install taps and showers to the North. 

  • Geysers and bathtubs should be towards the southeast and west sides, respectively. 

  • Place the door on the southwest side, and a washing machine can be installed around the northeast or southwest corner. 

Don'ts

  • The bathroom and Toilet position as per vastu for west facing house, should never be near or in the same direction as the pooja room and kitchen. The bad energy of both the bathrooms will spoil the divinity and purity of both these rooms. 

  • The toilet should never be built in the Northeast direction of the house. This will weaken the house owner financially, and children will fall sick regularly. 

  • If the toilet is attached to the bedroom, keep it closed.
