Our living room is quite big, as I wanted the sitting area to be spacious but as a result, the space for our kitchen decreased. Everything seemed okay until we bought a new fridge. The next question we had was where to put the refrigerator in a small kitchen. I asked a few of my friends to help me out and at last I was able to figure out the place. Where to Put Refrigerator in Small Kitchen?

In a small kitchen, finding the right place for the refrigerator is crucial. Here are several options:

• Place the refrigerator under the countertop to save floor space and maintain a streamlined look. This is often referred to as an under-counter or built-in refrigerator, and it's a great choice for a seamless, space-efficient design.

• Install the refrigerator beside the kitchen cabinets, creating a built-in appearance. This keeps the fridge within arm's reach and integrates it into the kitchen's overall design.

• If your kitchen has a nearby pantry, consider placing the refrigerator inside for a hidden, clutter-free appearance, and efficient use of available space.

• Place  the refrigerator into a kitchen island if space allows. This can serve as a stylish, central focal point while maximizing storage and accessibility.

• If your kitchen is adjacent to a staircase, consider utilizing the space beneath the stairs for a built-in refrigerator, using this often-unused space efficiently.

• Place the refrigerator in a corner of the kitchen, providing easy access while minimizing its impact on the working triangle. Corner placement can save space and create a balanced design.

We’ve lived in 1RK apartment and it wasn’t a big one I must say. The kitchen, the room and even the washroom was tiny. We were in a fix about where to put fridge in small kitchen. But then we figured it out. This is what I have for you. 

• Your fridge placement in kitchen can be in one corner which is closer to a switch board

• At the same time, you should take care that you leave some space around the refrigerator since it does need ventilation

• Keep it away from hot sources, in this case it will be nowhere around gas burner or gas stove

• I would recommend you to go for a mini fridge. They are compact and easy to place in a kitchen

If any of this is impossible, just take the fridge out of the kitchen. You can place it somewhere in the hall.
