Hello,

Yes, a transformer is required for a stilt+3 floor residential building construction in a 60 x 40 site to get a domestic power connection from BESCOM. The electricity that powers our homes is created at extremely high voltage and afterwards transported across great distances by electric lines. This high-voltage energy must be transformed into low-voltage electricity because the equipment in our homes runs on low voltage. This final voltage conversion is done by distribution transformers.

I hope I was able to help you.
