• Strength and Durability: 

Ensure the cement you select provides adequate strength to withstand the load and structural demands of your roof. Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) with a suitable grade, like OPC 43, is often preferred for its balanced strength and cost-effectiveness.

• Chemical Resistance: 

In industrial or polluted areas where the roof may be exposed to chemical pollutants, consider using PPC or cement with additives for enhanced chemical resistance.

• Aesthetic Preferences: 

If you desire a specific colour or finish, white cement may be used for decorative purposes.

• Roof Type: 

For sloping roofs, fibre cement sheets or roofing tiles may be a better choice than traditional cement. They offer durability and weather resistance.
