Which chimney brand is better, Elica, Faber or Hindware?

I have used several chimney brands and in my opinion, Hindware is the best kitchen chimney in Indian market based on the quality, suction motor capacity, and reliability.

I recently bought an apartment. I made sure to install a kitchen chimney before moving into the flat because I didn't want the grease and smoke from cooking to make my kitchen space dirty. I was indeed in a dilemma regarding which company chimney is best for kitchen. After much deliberation, I decided that I wanted a vertical chimney. There were multiple brands to choose from. Let me share my insights about the same.

Which Chimney is Better Vertical or Horizontal?

Before deciding on the chimney brand, I did a comparison study around which chimney is better vertical or horizontal. I realised that both chimneys have their pros and cons. 

Let us begin with the vertical chimney;

After going through the pros and cons, I finally decided to opt for a vertical one as I realised a horizontal chimney might not be able to accommodate the roofline or pitch of my house.

These are some of the best chimney brands in India;

• Faber 90 cm 1350 m³/hr: Rs. 24,470

• Elica 60 cm 1350 m3/hr Filterless: Rs. 12,990

• V-Guard X10 BL180: Rs. 11,999

• Hindware Smart Appliances Clara Neo: Rs. 5,599

Out of these brands I selected the Hindware Clara Neo for my home. As this was affordable and this model had satisfactory customer reviews.

• Positives:

It has a powerful suction capacity of 1350 m³/hr, and it has touch controls and LED lights. It costs around Rs. 12,799, which is slightly affordable in comparison to the Elica chimney.

• Negatives:

One of my friends bought this chimney and posted a negative Hindware chimney review. Her complaint was that the oil collector broke after 5 months of use just like that. Also, according to her, the chimney doesn't work effectively as the smoke and smell of cooked items & oils get spread everywhere. 

Finally, after getting the Hindware chimney review, I ultimately opted for Elica. I will try to post my personal experience with the Elica chimney.
