Hi,

I have used several chimney brands and in my opinion, Hindware is the best kitchen chimney in Indian market based on the quality, suction motor capacity, and reliability.

Hindware > Elica > Faber

This is my ranking. You can check out the comparison given below to make your own judgment.

Brand Comparison
Features Hindware Faber Elica
  Silent

Its chimneys are less noisy and not irritating.

Its models don’t make noise, but they ain’t as noiseless as Elica chimneys.

It offers several models that ensure a noiseless fireplace.

        Auto Clean

Presence of an oil collector cup and auto-clean feature in all products.

Faber offers an auto-clean feature in most of its products and oil collectors.

Most of its kitchen fireplace models offer an Auto-Clean feature.

Suction Power

The maximum suction capacity power available in this brand is 1250/hr

It has a model with 1500 cubic meters per hour suction capacity.

Elica has a model with the highest suction capacity of 1425 cubic meters per hour.

I hope you like my answer on the best kitchen chimney in Indian market.

A few months ago, I was surfing around markets looking for a good chimney for my house.

While searching, I came across 3 popular options: Elica, Faber and Hindware. But I couldn't decide which one to go for among these 3. So I had to look up their features and compare Faber vs Elica vs Hindware to find out which is the most optimal choice for me. Here is the comparison I found.

Which is Better Elica vs Faber vs Hindware Chimney?

  • I found that Elica chimneys are renowned for their powerful suction, which may reach up to 1350 m³/hr, and their innovative designs.

  • I like to cook with spices that emit a lot of smoke and smell, so this really appealed to me.

  • I was particularly drawn to the auto-clean option because it makes maintenance much easier, which is essential for someone like me who wants a hassle-free and clean kitchen.

  • Although Faber’s models have suction rates of about 1500 m³/hr, I thought their designs were less aesthetically pleasing than Elica's more creative looks.

  • And although Hindware is reasonably priced and gives dependable performance, I thought it missed some of Elica's more advanced features.

Despite the fact that every brand has its advantages, I went for Elica because it suited my needs more. Its performance has surpassed my expectations, and the installation was simple. I would strongly advise, weighing your particular needs against what each brand has to offer if you're thinking about getting a kitchen chimney.

Which chimney is best for Indian kitchen?

I recently bought an apartment. I made sure to install a kitchen chimney before moving into the flat because I didn't want the grease and smoke from cooking to make my kitchen space dirty. I was indeed in a dilemma regarding which company chimney is best for kitchen. After much deliberation, I decided that I wanted a vertical chimney. There were multiple brands to choose from. Let me share my insights about the same.

Which Chimney is Better Vertical or Horizontal?

Before deciding on the chimney brand, I did a comparison study around which chimney is better vertical or horizontal. I realised that both chimneys have their pros and cons.

Let us begin with the vertical chimney;

Pros Cons

Simple to install

Few possibilities for design

Affordable because of its simple design

Possibly more challenging to clean, because of its height which makes it difficult to access

Low maintenance, as it is not exposed to elements as much

-

Now comes the horizontal chimney;

Pros Cons

Flexible design possibilities

More costly to set up, because of their complex design

It is because they can be cleaned from the outside and are readily accessible, they are simple to clean.

Increased upkeep, as it is exposed to elements and is more prone to get damaged

After going through the pros and cons, I finally decided to opt for a vertical one as I realised a horizontal chimney might not be able to accommodate the roofline or pitch of my house.

Which is the Best Chimney Brand in India with Price?

These are some of the best chimney brands in India;

  • Faber 90 cm 1350 m³/hr: Rs. 24,470

  • Elica 60 cm 1350 m3/hr Filterless: Rs. 12,990

  • V-Guard X10 BL180: Rs. 11,999

  • Hindware Smart Appliances Clara Neo: Rs. 5,599

Out of these brands I selected the Hindware Clara Neo for my home. As this was affordable and this model had satisfactory customer reviews.

Hi,

Your unique needs and preferences will influence your decision between Elica vs Hindware Chimneys. To make an informed choice that suits your needs, I advise considering aspects like suction power, noise level, design, and after-sales support.

When I selected chimney for my house, I was a bit confused between the Elica 60 cm 1350 m³/hr Filterless Auto Clean Chimney, and the Hindware Smart Appliances Nadia IN 60 cm 1350 m³/hr Stylish Filterless Auto-Clean Kitchen Chimney.

There are a few important elements to take into account while choosing a brand even though both are well known for their performance and quality.

Elica vs Hindware chimney:

  • Elica 60 cm 1350 m³/hr Filterless Auto Clean Chimney:

Its filterless construction is one of its most significant advantages. It is the greatest auto-clean kitchen chimney in India. It makes use of innovative auto-clean technology that cleans the chimney without the use of a filter by heating it.

  • Positives:

It has a high suction capacity of 1350 m³/hr

  • Negatives:

Auto-clean feature heats the chimney to a high level. Also, it is slightly costly, i.e Rs. 14,399

  • Hindware Smart Appliances Nadia 1350 m³/hr Stylish Filterless Auto-Clean Kitchen Chimney:

Any kitchen design will feel more elegant with the Hindware Smart Appliances Nadia 1350 m3/hr Stylish Filterless Auto-Clean Kitchen Chimney. It is top-notch kitchen equipment with a number of modern features. It is the best chimney in India at 90cm.

  • Positives:

It has a powerful suction capacity of 1350 m³/hr, and it has touch controls and LED lights. It costs around Rs. 12,799, which is slightly affordable in comparison to the Elica chimney.

  • Negatives:

One of my friends bought this chimney and posted a negative Hindware chimney review. Her complaint was that the oil collector broke after 5 months of use just like that. Also, according to her, the chimney doesn't work effectively as the smoke and smell of cooked items & oils get spread everywhere.

Finally, after getting the Hindware chimney review, I ultimately opted for Elica. I will try to post my personal experience with the Elica chimney.
