I was thinking about my dream property and then randomly I started thinking about what the most expensive houses in the world would look like. So, I did my research and found out that the most expensive home in the world is Buckingham Palace.

Situated in London, Buckingham palace is owned by the British Royal family. It looks like the Queen of England is literally the queen of real estate as well! The palace won’t be put up for sale anytime soon but, if it was, it would be worth around $2.9 billion.

This house comprises 775 rooms, which includes 92 offices, 78 bathrooms, 52 guest and royal bedrooms, and 188 staff rooms. Damn!

If I talk about the size, the palace checks in at around 828000 sq. ft. and the garden alone is 40 acres. Crazy! Isn’t it?

Its presentation is immaculate, with themed, symmetrical rooms covered in color and detail as well as one-of-a-kind and highly expensive chandeliers and art masterpieces.

Let me tell you about the 2nd most expensive house in the world as well. No prize for guessing! It belongs to our own Mukesh Ambani. Situated in Mumbai, Antilla costs a whopping $1 Billion. I did not want to miss even a single feature out for this house, so I decided to put it into a list:

  • 3 roof-top helicopter pads.

  • 2-story health center containing a jacuzzi and swimming pool.

  • 50-seat home theater with entertainment space, snack bar, and wine room
