Hello Raunak. The best primer for interior walls is shellac primer. I took upon a DIY thing to do last summer and painted one of my bedroom walls on my own and went overboard with it. I chose the best primer, paint and what not. For interiors, shellac works really well because of its ability to hide water and smoke damage on the walls. There are other reasons supporting my statement. I am sharing those below.
